The US Navy ship that got walloped by rough seas on the way to NATO’s biggest exercise in years is coming home

The amphibious dock landing ship Gunston Hall started making its method back to Virginia today after heavy seas triggered damage last month that required it to miss out on NATO’’ s Trident Juncture workout in Europe.
The team reported battered landing craft and well deck barriers after experiencing rough waves on the night of Oct. 22 while cruising the Norwegian Sea.
